I know most assumed that the hire of Clifford ray would benefit DMC after watching JT the last two games I can't help but say I think he has picked up some tricks himself. Most noticeable is rebounding position.

This is an interesting note. Clifford shows up, Cousins' rebounds go down and JT's go up. I suppose I could look it up but are our bigs' rebounds as a whole going up? Seems like there could be a team work approach to rebounding with Cousins spending more time boxing out one or two (or three :) ) of the opposition and leaving room for JT to get easy rebounds as I think they HAVE been relatively easy. It used to be that Cousins would establish a good position and then over power a few guys. Now maybe he is just creating space to JT can grab them. Far too early to conclude anything but the Clifford Ray pick up along with English may keep me off the FO's back for awhile.

Great game! Really pumps up my evening and this morning. We should do this more often. I've changed to my Spring clothes since Clifford Ray was signed so I'm assuming that's why JT is playing better. Ha! Inspired play. Need more of it. But obviously it's not so easy to turn off and on. Keep on trying. Bet the player were on Cloud Nine.

Thornton performed phenomally... I wonder how much of that was due to Reke being out of the lineup? Or Thomas for that matter.

Well he didn't have to share, just as Reke would improve if he didn't have to share with MT being out of the lineup. Just highlights that Cuz + 2 backcourt scorers, not 3, works best. And I'm counting IT as a scorer.

See my post in another thread. There are only 2 great small forwards out there, LBJ and Durant.

Well, there must certainly be other starters of lesser grade that Thornton could be traded for unless you didn't understand my point. There are 28 other starting shooting forwards other that Durant and LBJ and a few must be of similar/tradeable quality to Thornton. If not, then add another player or two to the trade so it is Thornton plus to get us a shooting forward starter. I'll make my point simpler next time.

I'd choose Reke than Thornton, because of what he does at both ends.

In term's of our " big 3 " lineup, it has to include Reke. Now, in our last game, Cousins and Thornton came together pretty well... But i think Reke has the edge against Thornton for what he does on both ends...

Reke and IT? Maybe? I wouldnt like to see IT taking shots from Cuz and Reke, but if he can adjust, he can be our best fit; til then i'd like to see Jimmer. But if IT can do so... then let's see how far we can go.

Just bottle it. The had a small lineup and they killed the Celts. It's more than just matchups and size. It's intensity, especially defensive intensity, and they had it against Boston. Now we'll see if they play down to the competition against Minni. If they can just imagine Minni to be the Lakers, then maybe they might pull out a win.
