Jimmer is a small sample size. This year it's 41.4% so the trend is up. Salmons has had some good years shooting so yes you could say he has proven to be a good 3pt shooter last year being his worst, but he has rebounded to be above his career this year.

Yes he's a better rebounder, but has a lot worse assist/to ratio to Salmons. His rebounds, size and defense are comparable to JJ.

But like I said. Trading for Chandler doesn't make the team any better than what we have now. And what would be the cost?

I 100% agree with there thank god but my whole point was out of all the SF's people were talking about hes as good as we can realistically trade for right now without losing Reke or Cousins

I wouldn't trade either for a SF at this point unless its LBJ or Durant. There maybe a few others out there for MT or JT, but I think the cost is too high for a minimal upgrade. This teams biggest weakness is still a playmaker most likely a PG next is a 3rd rebounder/paint defender that isn't shorter than a SF.

I wouldn't trade for a SF as I want to see how JJ turns out. I would like a pass distributing PG or a shot blocker. It seems like we have enough trade bait to pull it off.

It's kind of hard not to outperform a guy who hasn't played this year.

you could've addressed the whole point, but I guess snarky remark>actual discussion. whatever. I listed those three, because they are universally acknowledged to be the second tier SFs of this league, they earn accordingly (more than Batum) and none of them are playing better, or, in Granger's case, have played better when healthy. your original assertion remains outdated.
