Nintendoitis anyone?
How about these...:D :

Brad Miller: Miller needed nine stitches in his right index finger after almost chopping it off with a knife while doing dishes last season...on the same day he was named Western Conference Player of the Week for the second time in his career. Said Miller: "It's the last time I help do dishes." Said teammate Mikki Moore: "When I saw him, it was all wrapped up. So, I said, 'You're going to drop 20 and 20 in two games and then go and cut your knuckle off?' I said, 'That's real smart, Brad.' He said, 'Nah, that's my luck.'"

or

Greg Ostertag: You know we love Greg Ostertag around these parts, and this is one of the reasons why: The big goof fractured the third metacarpal on his right hand in October of 2004 when he tripped on a footstool while getting out of bed. Mind you, this happened after his first day of practice with his new team, the Kings.

or this(already mentioned above)

Lionel Simmons: Lionel's greatest contribution to the pro game was the injury he suffered during the 1990-91 season: He missed two games with wrist tendonitis caused by overtraining on his Nintendo Game Boy. I can only hope he defeated King Koopa and saved the Princess.

...and of course our most recent favorite...

Francisco Garcia: He broke his arm. While lifting weights. On a physioball. No, really. Said Garcia: "'Just a regular day, lifting weights. I was out there, on the PhysioBall. We've got an understanding that the exercise was good. We'd been doing that, and it exploded on me. I didn't have time to react or anything. It's crazy, man. I keep reflecting in my head. It's crazy."

Nice to see Rick Adelman come back to coach the final 2 minutes of the games and INSTEAD of fouling and being up 2 at the end, we allowed two 3 pt shots at the end of regulation to tie the game. Question: why do the Kings coaching staff never make it a free throw contest when up 6 or 3 at the end of games? I refer back to the playoff game vs Spurs when we were the 8 seed & we allowed Berry to hit a 3 to send the game to OT....Thoughts?
Westphal covered the fouling part in his post game and he is correct. You foul when the clock is lower around 5 seconds left. There was like 15 seconds left when they hit the 3. And it was a 30 foot shot that is very low percentage.

To be honest, I didn't have a problem with it.

Ilyasova's three was well defended and from 30 feet away. Even the best three-point shooters have trouble with that shot.

THE POLL: Where that crazy 3 to tie the game on the Poll, that was the game changer because it basically killed the Kings, they just needed that one stop.

I would never want to put the kings in a free throw shooting contest with the game on the line and that shot was as well defended as it gets.

And once again, your need for sarcasm makes it difficult to take you seriously. A dig at Adelman when all you're really doing is expressing a minority opinion over a coaching decision? Pretty weak sauce dude...

Exactly. And you do not, as a coach trying to enforce the need to play good solid defense, want to resort to chicken little fouling with that much time left on the clock. Besides having the possibility of blowing up in your face, the only other thing it really does is send a pretty strong message to ALL concerned that you have no faith in your defense.
