Goodrich: The Kings will be solid but not great

I don't know these players personally but, I do know some NFL players that have went from nothing to outstanding over time. It just clicked one day. Jerry Rice was a mediocre college WR that went on to be the best WR of all time.

Do you consider the following mediocre?.............

Jerry Rice

Totaled 4,693 yards set 18 NCAA Division II records Consensus All-American 100+ receptions in both his junior and senior seasons Recorded 1,845 yards and scored 28 TDs as a senior in 1984 Exceeded 1,000 yards receiving during three consecutive years MVP in Blue-Gray Game Played in Freedom Bowl All-Star Game Named to the SBN Sports Network's Black College Football All-Time team.

The man was not mediocre in college, and was coveted by Bill Walsh in the draft.

Odd statement by Goodrich, since only a small group of teams are going to be "great".

Clippers aren't going to be great, Rockets aren't going to be great, Nets aren't going to be great, Pacers aren't going to be great, Magic aren't going to be great, Nuggies aren't going to be great, Wolves aren't going to be great, Wizards aren't going to be great, Hornets aren't going to be great, Pistons won't be great.

I think Kings are gonna be a very solid/good team.

goat

First of all, New York was already a dump before Larry got there. he was the scapegoat Pistons already were a 1 puzzle away from winning a title and they found one in mid-season ( Rasheed ).

no one can save NY. Isiah is another scapegoat if everything goes wrong.

Your right about Isiah being the next head to roll if he doesn't produce. No pity there either. He created the mess, or at least added to it.
