Good game by Bibby

rumpled

G-League
Just equal time, thats all, the bad games get their threads too. 19 8 and 5 I thought was pretty nice and worth mentioning. Go bibby go!

This is already being actively discussed in the grade thread. So, to lessen duplication, I'm closing this one.

Now that the dust has settled a bit, I've reopened this thread. I watched the fourth quarter of the game and Mike's determination was evident, as was that of the other members of the team. They helped lock down the Jazz and they put it all out there. They did NOT want to lose another game.

One thing that hasn't been mentioned so far is Bibby's comment about the last Suns game, when they rained three's after the game was already a blowout. He said they hadn't forgotten.

You know what? I'm glad he said it. And I'm kinda glad I'm gonna be at tomorrow night's game. It could get interesting.

And I agree with you, rumpled.

GO BIBBY GO!!!

:D

NBA and all sports are very streaky, MIKE has the heart, he will break through it... hopefully tonight was the night it started.

I hope so very much. Its been painful to watch his struggles. I believe in his competitive fire and heart, tho.

I missed that, I like that too. That's an example of leadership (to me) that doesn't show up in the stat sheet and is usually ignored. We need that attitude and will to win on this team just as bad as we need an athletic big man.

I wish we had more guys holding grudges like that. That's probably part of the reason teams tend to stay bad once they're bad, the players just sort of accept it after awhile. Culture of losing develops, etc etc.

The good ones get angry and want to take it out on the next opponent. There are players on this team who I don't think care too awful much about winning games as long as the checks keep coming. Mike ain't one of them though, he's a hardwired competitor.
