1. hes going to retire after this season and
2. no ring for him

Umm, ok. Starks? As in John Starks? No wonder there's so much hate towards Reggie.

Unless you are a native of Detroit or are somehow tied to the Pistons, I just don't understand how you could root against Reggie. The guy is the epitome of character. Same team throughout his whole career, even though he could have ducked out at anytime to win a ring (see Karl Malone, Gary Payton). And at his age, still putting up incredible numbers.

I love Detroit for embarrassing the hell out of the lakers, but I want Reggie's career to end on as high a note as possible. LETS GO PACERS!!!!

i have nothing against reggie miller. i want to root for him. BUT i willl NEVER root for a team with thsoe goons jermaine o'neal ( who i can;t stand) or stephan jackson. jermaine o'neal is a constant whiner, and stephan jackson is an ***.

it's those 2 that makes me root against the pacers. no knock on reggie at all. he is a class act and one of the great players ever in this league. i wish he had won his ring back in 2000, but there is no way i'm rooting for it now, not with o'neal on that team.

plus i'm still happy about the pistons humilating the lakers last year, i grew to like that team a bit, so i want them to succeed.
