Although I'm no Roger Ebert, I must recommend this film to all even if you don't even like basketball. Must say that as a product of that generation (I was a high school senior during the time frame of the film) and all of the racial turmoil I definitely prefer the America of today than then. We've come a long way but with a ways to go. Anyway, won't preach anymore but if you're looking for a pic with a lot of entertainment value as well as a message you can do worse than this.
