it looks like to me that nik never gets excited on the bench... does that mean something? or am I over thinking?

Meh, I wouldn't worry about that. He played about 2 minutes in the last game and 4 in this half before getting yanked. Hasn't shot the ball well and really isn't used to riding the pine for so long. I'm sure he's a bit down on himself. I've seen him getting excited on the bench at times, but I'd say he's just trying to get himself back in his game so he can help.

also what a bargain for Omri if he can continue this play consistenyl night in and night out. As long as Williams doesn't steal his minutes.

So glad we were faithful to Boogie all this time, it's paying off big time. He owned up to his second foul and even helped the player up. GROWN MAN

Remind me to go back and find the threads that talked about DMC as someone who would never grow up and we'd be better off trading him while his value was up...

:D

At some point Malone is going to play Williams to keep him engaged and ready in the event that we need him. He might continue to struggle or he may catch the fever and play up to the level of his teammates. Who's to say? But when that happens, he won't be stealing anything. Smart coaches know how to keep the bench guys ready to play. It's not really worth worrying about.

The entire league is about to stand up and give the guy a standing ovation.

He'll get early mvp talk if this continues.

What a 1st half by DMC!

Defense was a little sloppy im the 2nd, but they tightened up to end the quarter.

Shaw will go back to that small lineup with Arthur as the stretch 5, taking Cuz out of the paint was their only hope. When they do we just need to slow it down and punish them inside.

With all due respect to Mitch, C-Webb, and anyone in between, Demarcus is going to be the best player in Sacramento Kings history.

And it might not even be close

I don't know. Webb averaged 24, 11, and 5 with a couple blocks and steals per game. I know Cuz is capable of those numbers, but to go better those numbers consistently? That's a tall task. But, to your point, if Cuz sticks with Sacramento and gets us to the finals and passed...you could be right.

when I said "stealing" his minutes I did not mean he will earn those minutes, my point was to say he will play regardless, just hope not in spite of Omri.

We're watching a superstar build his reputation right in front of our eyes. It's not like Lebron James or anyone who was expected to do great things coming out of the gate. DMC had his struggles, but I'll give credit to the fans here who had faith from day 1. The Kentucky fans knew it, the Sacramento fans know it and the rest of the NBA is rapidly finding out that DeMarcus Cousins is truly something special. I cannot even begin to express my gratitude to Vivek for making sure DMC would be in a Kings uniform for a long time.

Sessions is really playing horribly right now. I wish he would join the party. He's even having trouble just dribbling the ball.

Ben with 4 pts 5 reb and 3 ast 1 blk. Afflalo 0 points. I'd say Ben is finding other ways to contribute. I like the kid just needs a killer instinct

But could CWebb bring the ball up on a fast break?

If he can get us 10/12 pts with the rest of the stats, that would be pretty much what we need offensively.

I think you're wrong. Malone is a better coach than that.
