After all the gloom and doom scenarios churned out today, here's another one.

Say, perhaps the King's actually beat a bunch of these teams minus Boogie, led by Rudy Gay. Most games this month, after all, are still against quite ungood teams.

Then suddenly you're looking at Rudy, perhaps, as an all star candidate. And a team that would be brimming with confidence about to get their superstar back.

All is not lost. Maybe Boogie misses an extra two weeks. And just maybe we succeed anyway. Remember, this King's team is not 1-17 without Boogie. This team here has won 2 of 3 without Boogie.

So THIS is how winning teams pad their stats ;) I'll take it. Extra rebounds and points because the losing team keeps fouling to have glimmers of hope.

Yessss!

I loved the minute management
(Except for no Omri, but I can live with that in a W, especially when we have a B2B tomorrow with no DMC)

I love what we got from pretty much everyone except Hollins and Carl, perhaps.
(I think we saved them for tomorrow too).

Ben also had a quiet night, but we had to let Nik shake off the rookie goo once & for all... :D
(And he did that wonderfully, adding hustle, D and boards to his shooting)

Good stuff!! :)

big difference tonight...Nik got 30 min of playing time and didn't have to look over his shoulder about getting yanked. Take the wins anyway you can...even if the opposition doesn't want it. Also, in order for the Kings to have any chance of winning...there needs to be at least 3-4 players with 15+ points in my opinion.

nik stauskas got 8 rebounds (!). omg! that's huge for him. the guy needs to get involved. like, the guy can't just be standing there thinking he has no value other than shooting one spot up shot every five minutes. he needs to get rebounds and more importantly get to the free throw line like he did on that one drive.

Nik is supposed to be a good all around player but obviously we haven't seen any of it until tonight. It was an ugly game but Nik and Rudy added a little class.

Do you know if he was at the game tonight? I hope Cousins takes as long as he needs to recover both physically and mentally. We miss you Cuz!

According to our new sideline reporter, NIko Rust, DMC was not in attendance. :)

Hayward really shot his team out of the game
I think the Jazz have way too many ball dominant guards on that team.. Burke, Burks, and Hayward with only 1 ball. Burks can play off the ball, but he's best with the ball in his hands. Hayward is the exact same way. Burke is their PG. It would be interesting to see a back court of Burks-Hayward. I think Hayward is more of a SG and Burks is more of a PG.

Did you guys see how well Malone coached Nik tonight?

Usually, he doesn't tell him to rebound. Today, he did.

Genius.
