Ben really is inching towards a young Ray Allen. There's flashes where they look pretty damn similar, going back to Ray's young Milw days.

This is yet another game where Ben starts out with a few early misses and closes with 6 straight made FGs. I know a few are dunks / layups but that is a testament to hustle and moving without the ball. I know I only post about Ben but this kid is seriously becoming a stud! Still has a huge upside! Love my Kings and a heavy dose of Bmac!

Totally agree, i also recall reading something a while back about Webber potentially joining up with some people to buy the Hawks, which i thought was odd considering he could have very easily invested in the Kings last year. I don't feel he's been that Sacramento biased lately, which kind of bothers me!
I don't necessarily expect Webber to be Sacramento 'biased', but I kind of expect him not to throw the franchise down. Ignoring him stumping for the Grizzlies, this is two Fan Night games in a row where he has been throwing all kinds of shade at the Kings.

Looks like we got a game ! Good comeback after terrible 1st qtr. I was pretty sure they were not gonna shoot like that the whole night. We need to keep getting the ball to Ben and Gay. Collison needs to find his game as well. Omri doing it again from the bench. Instant energy and hustle.

listening to Webber is somewhat similar to torture....how he has a job as a color analyst is beyond me
I love Webber, but I don't think he likes the current Kings owners. There's been a weird relationship. But, I think he still loves Kings fans, just not the organization.

Not to jump Webber but it's tough to listen to him talk about others shooting when he can't remember how many timeouts he has... Just saying. Loved Webber when he was a King and I like his approach to covering a game but it is tough to hear how bad Bmac is / has been when for the better part of this year he has been a strong 3rd if not 2nd option for us. Plus, our best defensive guard!

I think he's made that obvious on numerous occasion's...including last year

actually, normally he is the best of that crew. Ironically it has been with us that he is most often out in space of late.

last year people wanted to hoot and holler when I pointed out the fugly of having Shaq sign on as an owner but not Chris Webber. I was willing to let the hooting and hollering go because I'm used to being a step ahead of potential problems. But I think that really is it. Webber was part of a rival ownership group. And the new organization has also been pretty bad about tossing out the baby with the bathwater when it comes to old Kings who were associated with Maloof taint. Just a question if not being part of things was his idea or new ownership's. Could see the bitter either way.

Makes me so sad. I idolized Webber growing up. Whatever issues he has, I wish he'd put them aside for the sake of his love for the fans and what this team did for his career

There's sour grapes somewhere, but just don't know where. Webber is actually really loyal to Kings fans :) though

Yeah. I haven't given Ben much credit on this board but he's really stepped up his game a good number of levels since the start of the season. He's looking really promising at last and these days I expect his shots to go in!

I was one who thought that Ben might be a bust. I'll be the first to admit I was wrong. I don't know what was holding him back early in the season, but its like somebody flicked a switch. He has improved in every area of his game. His defense is legit, his ball handling has become very solid, and his offense is just blossoming in front of us. He is becoming a serious threat. He is as athletic as any 2 guard in the league. That dunk over Amir Johnson was an extremely athletic move. I think that Ben is going to be a very good 2 guard in this league. If he explodes this team when healthy is going to be a real monster. Cousins inside presence, Collison dishing dimes, Gay score and slash, and Ben's shooting and speed. We need a Power Forward to rotate in for Cuz and JT. Come ON PDA, Get it DONE ! GO KINGS !!

so disrespectful

and I don't even like Allen. :p
Compare Ray's rookie season at 21 to what we're seeing now with Ben at 21.

Ray put up 13.4/4.0/2.6 on 43% from 2/39% from 3 in 31MPG
Ben now is 11.1/3.5/1.1 on 47% from 2/41% from 3 in 32 MPG

Then we get into style of play and their team's overall talent, which is probably better to discuss another time but it really isn't that poor of a comparison, despite Ray clearly having a superior handle. Next two years will tell us much more.

listening to him do his TNT stints...I can't say with confidence that he hasn't been bad in those games either. He might be sour towards the Kings but when you listen to his analysis overall something just isn't there and he is more often than not just spatting out stats that don't align with any truth.

I cannot believe they are reviewing this as a flagrant foul....he was trying to swing the ball away from him...Amir put his body infront of him...basketball play.
