Casspi stepped up big time. JT solid job on Davis. Ray Mac was big time off the bench. Cuz was Cuz. Sessions with a respectable job filling in. Stauskas contributed. Competed their butts off.

This is a great example of team play tonight! Everyone stepped up!!! I think everyone deserves As tonight. This was amazing. Even though Sessions had a poor shooting night, he had a very good overall game. Despite D-Will's 0-5 shooting in 15mins, he helped the team in many other ways. I think this is Nik's best game so far. He was good on both sides of the floor despite Evans taking him 1v1 on a few plays. Ray was ready to play. He was definitely the difference maker on the bench tonight. Anytime we needed a basket, he was there. His hustle was off the charts too. Landry and Ben both contributed well on the offensive side.

Cousins had one of those great quiet games. What a beast! I think the player of the game today is pretty obvious... Omri Casspi!!! Wow!

Great game tonight! Amazing win!

Back-to-back in Houston tomorrow. Who cares? This team doesn't. Coach Malone will be salivating and ready to go. GO KINGS!!

Tonight we see why the Davis hype needs to cool down. When guards aren't breaking down the defense and finding him for dunks, he doesn't impact the game much. Meanwhile you have DMC out there just doing absolutely everything, especially in that 2nd half

In fairness to Davis, JT's been one of the best big men man-to-man defenders in the league to start the season off. He's played like Petrie's mythical version of Chuck Hayes.

I think Casspi gave a little dose of his 5hr energy to his teammates tonight. Is it just me, or did everyone seem energized tonight? The Kings never stopped playing with energy on either end of the floor.

Furthermore, he's seemingly figured out AD a lot sooner than most. Let's make sure he stays on, if at least for that alone. Kudos to him.

I didn't see Malone's ejection, but was there a burst of energy after it?

That's what I'm saying: don't disrespect Thompson by trying to put Davis' night on lack of guard penetration; Evans certainly didn't seem to have too much trouble.

I would like to claim that I called the Omri revenge game, but he overshot even my expectations by quite a bit.

I think you saw the difference between Cuz and Davis in this game, when you slow the game down and keep the Pels from running you can negate Davis's open floor ability/ motor. On the other hand Cousins had his fingerprints all over this game event if it wasn't his greatest statistical night, draws so much attention where we pretty much were able to play straight up on Davis with JT playing like Ron Artest of PF's.

Anthony Davis: 37 minutes, 14 points (4-12 shooting, 6-8 FT), 9 rbs, 2 assists, 2 blks, 1 steal. By far his worst performance of the year and it's not from lack of effort.
