Full Rotation?

Yogi at 5'11" is going to have some trouble trying to play the 2 in the current NBA. There are plenty of SGs in the 6'4 to 6'6" range that can post him up and wear him out.

Believe it or notYogi played off the ball a lot last season. I don’t know how accurate this is but basketball reference has him down as playing 63% of him minutes at the two last season.

If some of you aren’t familiar where you can find the info here’s the link. Scroll to play by play

Yep, This. Yogi is probably better as an off-ball 2 guard anyway as he's not a great playmaker or floor general yet. What he is good at is playing good defense, off-ball shooting, pushing the pace and running in transition, and adding solid playmaking and ball-handling next to your lead guard. I think we're going to see a lot of situations this year where he's next to Bogdan/Fox/Buddy and complimenting those 3 as our lead guards.

The Kings and coach J are still figuring out their playing style. They have tried many approachs already I like fast with this team. All of our bigs can run the floor. Randolph is not going to be out there much. The Fox is at his best blazing on the break. The Kings are turning out to be a good 3 point shooting team. Many teams are now breaking on a made basket. All of that speed takes energy. Last night the Kings got beat in transition defense really bad at at times. The solution is frequent substitutions. The difference between the starters on the Kings and their subs is less than on a lot of teams. I like the young, fast, substituting sytle of play. It will give some teams trouble. It plays to our strengths.

i think line-up depends on opposing team and form in which is player at the moment... there are few players in kings roster i am not to familiar with, like ben, iman.... out of ones I know, it is respectable team... hopefully they can get to a least 30 wins this season.... lot of lottery teams are better this year, but one will eventually have to be the worst... that still doen's mean they will not up their wins number, because they are better (crazy draft this year), because i can see top teams having less wins this season...

fox, yogi, mason (all good)
Bogdan, Hield (bogi is bringing winning mentality and stability)
Bjelica, Jackson (I am expecting great contribution from Beli next season)
Giles, Skal, Jackson, Gabriel (high expectations from Giles, Gabriel looks solid and is good to have that kind of player)
Bagley, Willie, Kosta (contrary to lot of people on this forum, I expect Willie to be really good)

that is a great team... it only needs some time together, few good wins, and then it all unrolls naturally.... the sooner they start to play as a team, like good team effort on defense and sharing the ball, the sooner they will encounter better standing and bigger satisfaction playing for their team Kings

If it was up to me, the rotation would be:
Fox
Yogi
Buddy
Bogdan
Gabriel
Bjelica
JJ (small minutes since we lack wings)
Bagley
Giles
And then Skal/Wcs if there is a need for another center.

My idea is that defensively everything through 3-5 is switchable and everything through 2-4 is switchable.

Offensively a lot of Bjelica and Gabriel at 4 to create spacing. A lot of Giles/Bagley at center with four shooters around them. Lots of 1-5 and 2-5 pick n rolls to force rotations or switches and getting Bagley the ball on the move with a step on his defender, pick n pops with Fox &Giles while Buddy, Bogdan & Bjelica spotting up ect.

I really hope we don't make the same mistake as last year of having a useful 2 way player (Jakar) who would help the team while developing into something decent (not saying Sampson has) and just leave him on the two way deal with limited games this year with Gabrial.

I honestly would rather play ZBo over Skal. Skal is the same guy, low basketball IQ, very stiff movement, almost no confidence at all.
