Free tickets for March Birthdays

They did do it in February, I do believe...

Reina, Add September to that list. :(

What about us loyal fans who have birthdays in the summer? Looks like I won't be getting any tickets in that deal, ever.

I never saw it either.

Anyone know how they check your birthday?

My guess would be driver's license or something similar. You probably have to pick up your ticket at the will-call window in Arco.

I remember seeing somewhere that it was extended through February, but having a May birthday it didn't do me any good.

I decided to email my season ticket rep and this is the response that I received

Hi Maria,

Thanks for your email.

Thank you for the feedback. I am not quite sure why it was not offered in February.

Well, happy belated birthday!

Lilli

OK, maybe it wasn't. I was sure that I heard somewhere that it had been extended for Feb.

I don't think I am old enough to be losing it yet, but maybe this was a sneak preview??? :o

No biggie. Since some of us said it was offered and others said it wasn't that's when I sent an email to my season ticket rep. Out of all people, I figure she would know the answer.

Uh oh. I really want to make it to Arco before that place gets knocked down. I was going to spend a ton of money ( well, not a ton, like $400 ) to see the Kings play the Celtics on the 26th at the Garden, but I have a march birthday .. Plane Tickets + B1G1 free ticket .. hmm. I have some thinking to do.

Can I buy a ticket to one game, then get a free ticket for that same game?

I went through the link, chose seats, selected "email pdf tickets" for delivery, and was at the last checkout phase before my darn bank secret password thing kicked in and I did not remember wife's mom's maiden's name... so I did not complete the transaction.

But I had the impression it was going to be no sweat - pure honor system about the March birthday (wife's happens to be in March).

I think maybe... they don't check..

They do check. My cousin's daughter birthday was in January and I asked her if they checked if her birthday was indeed in January and she said they checked her driver's license.

You mean when she walked through the turnstile? How do they cyber-verify your birthday with ticketmaster electronic ticket distribution?

What the hell are you talking about?? My cousin's daughter had to pick her ticket up at will call and she had to show her driver's license at will call to show her birthday was indeed in January.
