From an article by Doug Smith in the Toronto Star yesterday comes this interesting tid-bit about our ole friend Yogi Stewart. But wonder if he is as good as or any better than Skinner. Yogi would be 31 or 32 by now, at least.

Deep in the heart of Houston, ex-NBA player and coach John Lucas runs a little workout camp for former NBAers who hope to still find employment in the league. He’s got Ron Mercer and Penny Hardaway in the group, and a fella well known to Raptor fans.
Yes, Yogi Stewart, who came to be the poster boy for the evils of long-term, guaranteed contracts in his end-of-the-bench tenure with the Raptors, is working out almost daily trying to resurrect a career that ended last spring. No word on whether he’s got a shot, but you have to admit he’s living proof that dreams die hard.
