Food for thought...

Though I know that our primary goal this offseason or before the trade deadline is to get an athletic PF/C to help with interior defense and rebounding but what would you think about if Peja balks in Indy and Bonzi doesn't resign with the Kings. Do you think there would be any chance of Peja actually finishing his career with the Kings with a lineup like this:

Bibby
Artest
Peja
SAR
Miller

It out there, but I as we've seen with GP before, anything is possible...

I really hope not. I mean Peja was apart of a great era in Kings basketball history. But, I can't say I'm sad to see Peja the player go. I've wanted him to go for a while, and now that he's gone I really don't want him back.

I wish Peja the best and hope he does good in Indy, like has been said, he has good fan in Indy like in Sac with the smaller metro area supporting the team. I'm not apposed to seeing Artest at Bonzi's position if we lose Bonzi this summer to free agency. I really would hope the Kings can keep him and that he can make a speedy recovery and not get injured again this season. I don't want to see Peja again, but would like to see a dominant defense minded stud in their to get rebounds, block shots, and provide some offensive threat, although not as much as I want pure defense and rebounding and no easy uncontested drives to the basket by other teams like it is now. If teams drive on us, I want to see them put on the floor like Detroit did to Jordan when the Bulls were emerging on their dinasty. We really need to work on keeping the points way down in the paint, it is getting really embarrasing how easy it is for other teams to score on us and out rebound us so effortlessly. Maybe we can package Corliss, Hart, and someone else for a difference maker, even through in KT if we are not going to keep starting him. We either start KT and Reef is off the bench, or trade him.

I don's see it happening. Maybe he comes back at the very end of his career and warms the bench, but even that is highly unlikely.

If that was the case Kings would have traded Bonzi to begin with. JO wanted Bonzi from the start. My 2 cents.

no chances....but somehow it seems to me that all ex-kings have better relationships with the sac community than with the kings organization......I think with little more effort vlade could stay in sac (not as player)....or doug as assistant coach?...
