Keep gettin' them checks, Corbin. This season is a waste.
So what you're saying is you're willing to give Corbin more time than Malone got?I can see the frustration. I would prefer a coach with a higher established offensive acumen instead of a Malone holdover. I think he knows more than Malone but that's not saying much lol.
I'd give him at least the rest of this season, and probably another to see what he can do. That is unless we can get a guy like George Karl or Mike D to sign.
It doesn't matter either way. He is gone at the end of the year (maybe back in an assistant position, but I highly doubt it.)Corbin's to worried about his job to be developing rookies.

Not particularly. You know what is funny, that someone would come along right after the Kings jettison Malone and the fan base absolutely revolts like never before (even under Maloofs) and have the attitude that they have taken a step in a positive direction - and throw little disses at Malone in the teeth of a dreadful start under Corbin. Don't you think that is funny?
I'd prefer Karl but I can see how Mike can totally change his reputation with another chance on a team with talent and athletes like the kings. People remember his stints with the lakers and Knicks more than his NBA changing success in Pheonix. As we see with how the those two organizations are doing, I think it's obvious that Mike didn't really have a chance.Come on bro. I see you post on here all the time and i can't really tell if you're being 100% serious. Mike D'Antoni? You think that's the answer to all our problems? REALLY???
JT my favorite target? When have I ever bashed JT? The last time I remember talking about him was congratulating on his 500 and wishing him 500 more.Good to see that you're back to insulting the players' intelligence. They seemed to understand defense under Malone, no? JT (your favorite target) excelled defensively under Malone. A good teacher gets the best out of his students, and Malone was getting that.
I think it's time to give the IQ thing a rest.

What did amare do after Mike? What did Nash to before and after mike?Mike had Nash and Amare with Phoenix! Amare is an athletic big guy, and look what's happened to his knees now? I don't even want to imagine what would happen to big Cuz running back and forth like that. Ridiculous to even consider, IMO, we will be shortening his career. And right now DMC scores in the post at will. If it aint broke don't fix it, why would we go changing style to fit a coach who's been run out of the league?

That wasn't to you. I left you a special present.JT my favorite target? When have I ever bashed JT? The last time I remember talking about him was congratulating on his 500 and wishing him 500 more.
That is clearly managements plan. So glad they put a draft pick before having a winning team. Thanks PDA and Vivek! At this point. I'd rather just bomb the rest of the season. Keep our pick and hire our coach before the off season.
Oh, my bad. That wasn't to you. I left you a special present.

Without a change in culture young talent won't thrive. This is not what I wanted out of this season. But with how far we have fallen, we might as well get something out of it. Who knows, maybe Cleveland's luck ran out and we get that #1. Highly doubt it, but who knows.

D'Antoni? His only success was on the back of Steve Nash. We have Daren Collison. Our best player is the top center in the league, not an MVP caliber PG. You're not even making sense. What his stints in NY and LA show is he owes his success to Nash and his gimmick system doesn't work otherwise. Go back to your GS forum.
Anyone on here wanting D'Antoni as coach is straight up trying to **** with fans of this team.
Amari was sapped out of a lot of athleticism early in his first few years. He remained a superstar because of Dantoni system and a great midrange game. The more appropriate question is what did Amare doe after several major injuries sapped all of his athleticism? And before D'Antoni, Nash was one of the more dynamic young point guards in the league (also having to contend with Dirk and Finley for the ball in Dallas). After D'Antoni, Nash's body completely broke down with injury after injury.
And where IS Shaq in all this mess? Has he said anything?!?!? He's not known for being tactful or quiet....why hasn't he spoken up?How about if we fire Corbin, Vivek makes himself the coach. Let him put in his nutcase plays and schemes and he makes such a fool of himself that the minority owners collectively force him out. Mark Mastrov or Shaq takes over.

Nash was a good pg before mike, and became basically an all time great with mike. Lin was a bench player who became a superstar with Mike for a short while.
Mike had the perfect players for his system in Pheonix but they didn't make him. Coaching garbage teams with terrible FO the last few years hasn't exposed him IMO.

LIN A SUPERSTAR!
And why exactly, would you throw that name out there when there might be candidates like JVG, McMillan or Thibs available this summer, who's success isn't reliant on having an MVP caliber PG like Nash?D'antoni is not my first choice. Just saying he's got a bad rap. It wouldn't surprise me if he landed in the right spot and had another great run.
