You kidding, right? Our favorite OLDIE? And an anonymous poll to boot? I'm predicting right now this is gonna end up being totally and completely meaningless.

P.S. I added one more choice, because I think that will actually be the most popular answer.

:)

I don't fear it. I just think it's an invitation for people to make votes they don't really believe in just to skew the results anonymously.

;)

Think maybe the meaning is not olide, as in "oldie but goodie," but as in "way past his prime." Voted Brad because he's "poutie" too

i picked SAR only because the other guys are complete trash. brad miller is easily the biggest dissapointment of them all, imo. absolutely inexcusable.

I'll go with Mikki just because he was a good story last year and played with enthusiasm.

This is of course assuming that favorite is meant in some sort of straight ahead fashion, as opposed to favorite as in "best at sucking" or favorite as in "most talented" or favorite as in "belongs within 100 miles of your rebuilding squad with his minute munching cap choking contract" (in which case I vote for none of the above).

I vote for None Oftheabove because None's got a cool last name and he signed with us for the MLE - which really helps us. Plus he hasn't played that much in his career so he should be just entering his prime at 44 years of age.

Prety hard not to end meaningless when it started there. Ah yes one more reminder of why I hate polls.

Oh, and since I didn't say so before, my favorite Oldie is actually a four-way tie... between "The Rubberband Man," by The Spinners, "Under the Boardwalk," by The Drifters, "The Payback," by James Brown and "Ain't no Mountain High Enough," by Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell.

Now THOSE are favorite oldies I can identify with. My vote would have to go to "Under the Boardwalk," BTW.

;)

I used to have the "The Rubberband Man" on 45 (with one of those yellow plastic things so you could play it on the turntable) when I was like seven...that might be my favorite all-time tune.

hahahahah kenny has got 0 votes

cant say im surprised

Yeah, I wonder what happened to the KT crew. They must have gotten enough crap around here and started their own site.
BTW, I voted for SAR. He has not lived up to his potential as a King, it would be great to see him step up this year.

Me too... I got a little turntable when I was eight and "inherited" a lot of 45s from my parents... unfortunately, we lost nearly all of our vinyl in a flood in '88.

I was thinkning allong similar lines but my list would be Roy Orbison, "Only the Lonely", Del Shannon: "Little Runaway" Otis Redding, "Sitting On the DOck of The Bay." MIght also toss in Buddy Holly, "Thatel Be The Day."

Whoa, Celt. Each of those is among my all-time favorites. Add in "Mr. Blue" by The Fleetwoods and I'm gonna be sitting here singing really old songs all night.

Didn't get much Roy Orbison and Buddy Holly growing up; I lived in a "Motown" house, so to speak.

My list would include some Elvis (mom used to play the Moody Blue record that was really blue), Summertime Blues, and a little Roy Orbison thrown in for good measure.

Being only 36, I think my exposure to the oldies may be a little less than some others here.... ;)
