Fans breathe sigh of relief with end of TDOS

Well, I will officially going on the "wrong" prediction slate as of tomorrow. I sincerely believed it was impossible that Williamson/Skinner/Thomas/Garcia/Martin would all be Kings on the 1st day of camp.

Then again add the backup PGS and certainly not the worst depth in the league. At the very worst another in a long line of good teams. Wish there weren't exhibition games.
 
Only if you're pretending to be a Kings fan, dear hoopsie. You've never hidden your light under a barrel, so to speak, and it's just one of things I respect about you.

WooooooooHoooooooooo!! I'm so excited for this season to start. I've got my NBA league pass so I'm ready for the year!! I honestly feel that as fans we are in for a great season!! I wish there was an emoticom of a face giving an ear blowing whistle!!!:D

im excited about the new season, but pissed about how few games I will be able to see

My area is the only area that I know of around here that DOESN'T get CSN Sacramento. Its crazy. A town less than 5 miles away gets it, but my town doesn't. There's a cable monopoly arond here ran by Charter, and they don't give a crap about Kings fans in this area so don't offer CSN Sacramento OR NBA League Pass...

On to another season of only seeing 25 games on News 10 and ESPN/TNT....:(
 
I LOVE this part of the season! I allow myself to be totally optmistic, completly and unashamedly biased. I let myself believe that we can and are going to win it all. I KNOW that we have the best from the owners to ushers! We are a strong, united team that can defeat EVERY other team in the league.

Of course, we have not played a game, which allows me the feel this way. In my head, I know this is NOT totally true, BUT that is why I LOVE this time of year. I do not have to be realistic! Don't get me wrong, I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE REAL GAMES TO BEGIN, but until then, I will bask in my imaginations for our season!! GO KINGS!!!

Thanks VF21!! According to my husband, my whistling during games & concerts can make his ears bleed. I saw a website that had adult/gross smiley faces. I wonder if it has one that bleeds from the lobes so we can add them together. Sorry, I'm going to the dark side. Husband & brother's infuence.:rolleyes:

Once again, TDOS is a thing of the past.

Now, like every year, our friends will be returning to us for another exciting year of Kings basketball. And, new members will continue to join our ranks. The need for ever more expanding bandwidth to keep us up and running will increase.

NBA tv is suppose to start their coverage tomorrow on each of the teams' practice games/facility. They usually pick one team and follow them during the practice sessions. This year they want to show one day with each team. It's suppose to show the practice with interviews. I got my NBA league pass early just so I'd be able to see it.:o Oh, well.
 
I actually started up my subscription to Sports Illustrated again this year. After all the hand-wringing, head-pounding, etc. that went on this summer (and yes, I realize I was doing it), I'm settling in for what could be another E ticket ride!!!

I seriously think 2004-2005 was the let-down. I'm cautiously optimistic that this year, simply on the basis of comparison, will have to be better.

seriously! at this point if I'll be thrilled if I can make it through the season without crying... last year was a little too much of a rollercoaster for me!


Looking forward to a great season... I can't wait to see how this team comes together!

Dish Network carries CSN? I think we get Dish network in this area....and maybe Direct TV too. The only thing is, Charter carries my internet too, so I dunno if we could pay for DirecTV and a higher priced Internet that would come with leaving Charter cable.

DishNetwork does offer CSN. It's on channel 409. DirecTV, the other satellite provider, carries it but I don't know the number off hand. Both satellite providers should be available in your area, as they depend on satellite dishes and satellite transmissions, not underground cables.

If you know someone in your neighborhood with DishNet or DirecTV, check with them. See if they can get Sacramento local channels. If they can, chances are you'd be able to get CSN broadcasts without them being blacked out... You should be forewarned, however. You might be within the domain of the Warriors. If so, the Kings games will be blacked out. If that's the case, you should be able to get League Pass and watch them that way. Again, checking with someone in your immediate area is about the best way to find out, because the people who answer the "information" lines for for DishNetwork and DirecTV are located back east, and often don't really have a clue about local coverage, etc.

Prolly not the right thread but since were on the topic of Dish... Any word on HD broadcasts for the Dish's this year? Either way just glad to be seeing all the games.
