Fanhouse and Sam Amick on trade possibilities:

Hmmm.

And where would we get the minutes to play Beasley to farther develop him?

.

Easy solution. Play him at PF. Thompson is too raw and too inconsistent and Landry is undersized and a poor rebounder. Or, use him as the 6th man playing the SF and PF. Many different ways to fit him into the team and as long as you're getting him for only second round picks, there's very little to lose. you just don't pass up that chance.

And I'd say almost all those ways to fit him into the team will involve Westphal being seen as a complete a-hole for diminishing fans' favorite players' playing time. An inevitable result of having equally mediocre young players in a very young team.

I like JT, Landry, Casspi, and Greene as much as anyone, they all seem like great guys but they're just not starting caliber players and the only one I ever think possibly will be is Casspi. Beasly is better and has a higher ceiling than all four of those guys so if playing them less or moving them was necessary to develop Beasly, then so be it. Everyone on this team is movable other than Evans and Cousins.
