One can only wonder what really occurred on August the 2nd, 2010 at 2:30 pm, when associate editor of Sactown Royalty, Akis Yerocostas, let out a fateful tweet in the direction of the herculean Ryan Thompson. But it can almost be unanimously agreed that, like me, Akis Yerocostas was sitting at his computer, spending hours imagining Ryan Thompson sitting on the end of the Kings bench in flattering purple warm ups, Kobe throwing his hands up in defeat and Tyreke Evans dancing on the sideline as LeBron loses the 2011 NBA finals in 4 blowout games to the Kings.

"Have the Kings invited you to their Fall training camp?" an eager and excited Akis Yerocostas asked, TO WHICH RYAN THOMPSON REPLIED, "YES."

lol what is it with you and Ryan Thompson? Its marginally good news that hes getting a shot at training camp. I sense that you have a romantic enfatuation with Thompson. Maybe its the little heart at the bottom of your post that gives me that idea. Either way, he was the best out of our guards in summer league. Unfortunately for us, thats not saying much.

Good for Ryan. I'd say it's about 90% he gets cut in Kings training camp. Maybe he eventually hooks up with another NBA team. More likely he plays for awhile in D-League or overseas. I'm sure Kings felt sorry for him after he suffered that bruising head bump in summer league plus nepotism runs rampant in Kings organization (Geoff Petrie's son, etc.).
