You bet I'm excited!!!:D I love what this team is doing. I really love to watch the battles in the paint, battles for loose balls and the battle for rebounds. Jon Brockman is a great asset in all 3 of these areas. Thats why Jon is one of my favorite players!

In the 4th quarter of the N.O. game last night with around 10 minutes to play the Hornets had rallied to only 3 points down. Westphal had JT, Brockman, Casspi, Tyreke and Sergio in the game. Now sports fans I was thinking, "Man if this was last year the Kings would fold." But you know what, this ain't last year, outside of JT none of those guys were with the Kings last year. JT and our 3 2009 draft picks were on the floor:D I had confidence in them and I was excited!!!:D

Way to go GP:D

its posts like this one that make me scratch my head whenever some here questions if i am a kings fan. like, i so know this team... the difference is, what i want this team to become and what you guys want are 2 different teams. i want them to be a run 'n gun team until we have a real breakout star to build around. all of our player would be best suited for that style of team(hawes could do it but he's a wuss, i know what you guys are gonna say). thats why i wanted he who shall remain nameless, he would be the identity that this team lacks... push the ball, get open and he who shall remain nameless will find you. like, dude... you guys want something totally different.
We want the team to win. Bitching about them when they are winning makes no sense. Agreed?

BTW, so what you are saying is that Evans isn't a breakout star. He's already putting up better numbers than people who put up less in their rookie seasons and went on to take the league by storm, yet he can't become as big a star as them is what you are saying.

Oh yeah, and while you were making your bold yet highly educated and better than everyone else prediction, did you predict Martin would go down by game 5 and this team would be rocking?

nah... they are doing what i expected them to do, why give them credit for that. they were supposed to do those things. but yes, we both want them to win....

I'm excited for Brockman, Casspri, and Sergio. And even for Beno. However, I just don't understand why they want to have Evans as a PG. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad we have him, but I just don't understand. We have 2 good PGs in Sergio and Beno.

Because he has been playing great at that position and we have been getting the most out of him by doing so. Think of it as squeezing the orange for all its worth.

He plays how he plays, whatever label gets hung on him. In most respects, it doesn't matter what you call him.

But if the FO and coaches had referred to him as a SG all along, don't you think that would have bothered some people? With Kevin being the reigning face of the franchise and all?

Yes I am very excited! that was a great win over the blackhawks, and i'm sure we're gonna beat the ducks. Kopitar is leading this team to a championship!

Because he has a chance to be a dominant force at that position, a constant night in night out matchup nightmare, and we have had our best success in 3 years since handing him the reins.

And please, Beno and Sergio have been playing great, but a month ago they were considered nothings in the NBA.

What a great turnaround for our Kings.

So many upsides this year-
Of course Tyreke;s superstar potential, but also...
Casspi's impressive play
Brockman's presence
Greene's flashes of brilliance
Beno's huge resurgence
A much better record thus far
Team oriented play
Enthusiatic players

The excitement is coming back!

Hmmmmm, still waiting for an answer from the one who voted, "no."

The voter in question has been a member since Feb. 2006 and has a grand total of TWO posts. I'm guessing he/she has said all they're going to "say" on the subject.

:)

Who?

Rookie PER (and for those who complain about PER it at least it's a consistant basis to compare years)

CP3's rookie PER 22.14
Sergio R 14.17
D Will 12.42
Rondo 13.16
Parker 17.17
westbrook 15.2
Beno 14.31
Nelson 14.36
Harris 14.76
Lowery 18.49
Rose 16.05

Evans is at 16.57 in 15 games. Lets see where he ends the season.

I'm excited because the team is young, with raw talent and are playing well despite the leading scorer and top reserve are out. Even a nice win without those two guys plus Spencer against the Hornets, granted CP3 didnt play. I'm defintiely excited about now and the future since these guys are only going to get better. A good example is Donte. He's come as long way in just one year.
