Well, I was wondering if anyone here is planning to go to Serbia and Montenegro in September for Eurobasket 2005. It's gonna be a great couple of weeks there. I'm from Slovenia, but I'm half Serbian, so I definitely plan to go. I will cheer for both of my countries, but in the end I want Serbia and Montenegro to win.

The Serbia and Montenegro team should be a scary one. Hopefully, all the best players will accept the invitation to play and with everyone healthy I don't see a way we could lose. Of course, there will be a bunch of nasty opponents like Lithuania, Spain, France, heck maybe even Slovenia.

Man, it would be a dream come true if the Kings would win the NBA title and then "PLAVI" would follow suit. A similar thing almost happened in 2002, but let's not get into that, the pain is still present.

Serbia and Montenegro team:
-Marko Jaric
-Igor Rakocevic
-Milos Vujanic
-Dejan Bodiroga
-Sasha Pavlovic
-Peja Stojakovic
-Vladimir Radmanovic
-Nenad Krstic
-Zeljko Rebraca
-Dejan Tomasevic
-Peja Drobnjak
-Darko Milicic(Zarko Cabarkapa)

If all this players would play on the Eurobasket 2005,we would be champions!
We'll see, there is still a lot of time.

Uros Tripkovic deserves a STRONG consideration. In fact, I believe that he is currently the best SG that we have, with the ability to switch to PG.

I am 12 years old and I usually fly to Serbia and Montenegro every summer with my sisters. I went to watch one of the then Yugoslavian team warmup games for the world champinoship and I got Divac's autograph. One of my dad's friends usually finds us tickets to as many games as he can. Man that would be something to go to a game. I really think we (serbia and Montenegro) have a shot this year. But one thing I don't understand is how America loses in the World Championship when most of their players on that team take all of our players starting posistions in the NBA and the starters lose in the world championship.

GO KINGS
and
NAPRED PLAVI

Teamwork. The Serbian and other European national teams are much more familiar with each other than the American team, which practices like 4 times before beginning tournament play.

I think Igor Rakocevic will get the nod before Uros. Igor in my minds is the best SG we have I know he is a little small but I think he best suited for SG than PG.

igor is such a dynamic scorer. i remember watching him just explode when he was in a zvezda jersey. i was hoping he would stay in the NBA more.

pavlovic is playing pretty good on the cavs too.

I am planning to go. Its safe to say that Serbian basketball is at crossroads and if we don't take the medal on our home court then heads need to roll.

At full strength we should be too strong but we always have trouble against the spaniards and Lithuania is always a worthy opponent.

Uros has been sensational for Partizan this year. As an 18 year old he has been the leader of the team and has handled the pressure very well. I think he would most definetly get the invite but whether he makes the 12 men squad remains to be seen. At least there is a genuine SG coming through the ranks that can score in a hurry and with good efficiency.
