I have already mentioned several times - this year CSKA is going to be not superb. So, this result is no surprise to me and should not surprise anyone. They lost too many pieces + their key player (Smodis) is injured. It is almost hard to believe but CSKA is out of a F4 picture. I guess Maccabi will rule in that group. However, I would rather watch classical crazy games between two legends of European basketball - the Yellows and the Red Army.

Sad story:

Kaspars Kambala is going through a personal tragedy after he lost his five-months old daughter last night. Kambala was informed about his daughter's death minutes before the game against Belgacom for Eurochallenge.

Despite the bad news, Kambala didn't let his teammates down and played in the game scoring 19 points. It was only after the game that Kambala let his tears. Kambala is already back in Latvia with his family.

The tragedy occured just days shy of Kambala's 31st birthday.

How many spots can Spain have in Euroleague? I am asking, because they have 3 teams in Eurocup(its winner goes to Euroleague) and they got organisation of F4 tournament so everything is on their side to add another team in Euroleague. I think there are too many spanish teams.

Hopefully, Red Star Belgrade will go all the way and win Eurocup

the places in the euroleague is Un understandable, spain got 4 teams (Barca, Real, Malaga, Vitoria), Italy got 3 places (Rome, Siena, Milan)

Yeah, in the Past. Now only siena deserve to play in it.
the euro leagues which HAS to get 2 places are Israel + Serbia. Hapoel Jerusalem which gets to high places on the eurocup everyear (and won it on 2004) and Maccabi which is one of the best team of all times in europe, has to play in the euroleague. (jerusalem is way better from alot of teams in the euroleague for sure)
RedStar + Partizan has to play in the Euroleague everyear too..
Rome and Milano shouldnt...
