(Wright's previous position: No. 6 to Milwaukee)

The skinny: The word is that Wright is slipping on draft boards. Everyone loves his talent, but in workouts he's proven to be further away from contributing than many of the other picks in the draft. Combine that with concerns about his motor, and he could slip.
But it's hard to see him slipping past the Kings. He fits a need and just has too much talent to pass on here.
Julian Wright and Spencer Hawes, if they're still available, are also possibilities here.

If we could get Brandan Wright, it would be a steal. Ya, he might need some time to develop, but since we are looking like we are going to try and rebuild and go fairly young, this would be perfect.

I rarely put much credence into Fords inside info, or his ablity to see past the obvious but I actually like 2 things in this article that relate to the Kings. First the basic asumption that if Yi and Hawes are off the table the Kings take Wright... makes perfect sense and still lands a qualiy big. I also agree with the basic suspcison that Ainge will nab Yi for trade purposes, and that could be good news in Sac.

Unfortunatly alot of this depends on the shaky premise that Connely will bolt UP in the draft to number 4... not sure I see this. Heck if Memphis wants PG tallent how about Bibby for Yi and some filler? Want a big too? We have a couple PF's I'd deal fro some for some more of their tallent if I can get a legit young Center in the deal!

I can't see Bucks taking Green over B. Wright especially considering that Wright REALLY impressed them in the workout. They were raving on about him in the paper the next day.

I hope one of Yi or Wright slide down to pick 10 but I don't think that will be the case unfortunately :(

I can easily see them taking Green over Wright for the simple reason that Green is more NBA ready and could jump in right away. For that same reason I don't think they take Yi either. The C's are looking for help right away. Wright will probably be better in the long term, but he is going to take time to fill in his frame and develop.

The owner LOVES Jeff Green, Larry Harris is the one high on B. Wright...if the owner wants Green, then Green is the pick IMO>

I just listened to Draftexpress podcast and according to them Brandan Wright is sliding outside top 10 and fast. Jonathan Givony think that he won't fall past Philly at 12 but the apparent reasons why teams are not impressed with him is that he has struggled greatly in the work outs. Really bad ball handling ability, and a very unreliable jump shot. They also question his hunger and apparently many teams think he is a 4th or 5th option on a team.

If all of these things are true then WOW! The kid would really wish he stayed in school if he slips out of the top 10. If the reports are true about his workouts, then I can't see Petrie really picking him at 10. He would want to go for a safe pick.

Oh and Yi is likely to be picked up by Atlanta at 3.
