ESPN lists 2015 front-office rankings: Top execs

Not totally sold on the list, waaaay too heavily weighted towards current results. My list:

1. Spurs / Heat (tie).

3. Mavs (decade + winning, ability to retool multiple times and keep winning, including a championship)

4. Celtics (built the big 3 then quickly transitioned into rebuild mode, stockpiling assets for aging vets and hitting the reset button near perfectly)

5. Lakers (decades of being the NBA gold standard. Mortgaged the future for one final superteam - the gamble failed but they quickly pivoted to a Kobe farewell tour + all-out tank. Were it not for the lost picks and the uncertainty surrounding the Buss family, they'd be top 3 with Heat and Spurs)

Top 5 bubble: Thunder (possibly the best drafting team in the NBA. Appears to quick to let to go of great players, but has done a great job of filling the gaps)

Top 5 bubble bubble: Warriors (rapid turnaround of a moribund franchise into the NBA darlings is nice and puts them in the conversation. Made a lot of smart moves, but they need to show more sustained success to be higher).

Remember 3 years ago when Warrior fans booed the owners of the team during Mullin's retirement ceremony because they traded away Monta Ellis?

Warriors deserve an A++++

PDA/Mullin/Vivek 28th, George Karl 16th afte rbeing out of the game for 2 years.

Yeah, I'd have to agree. :/
