I'm not a big fan of the show, but Jeremy Piven has been one of my favorite smart-***es for years.

Not sure about the rug, though.
He is a great actor, and it's nice to see that he's finally being given his due after being under the radar for so many years. I haven't seen the show, though. Isn't it only on a premium cable channel?

Okay, I am not paying an HBO subscription for just one show. Gotta love Netflix!! I just ordered the first season. Can't wait to check out this show and see what everyone has been talking about. And then I will order 'Huff' on DVD as well. Why should one have a premium channel subscription when you can just get it all on DVD. Plus then you don't have to wait week after week to see what transpires-it's all right there.

Here's my best summary:

Well there's a rising movie star from NY (Vince) who brings his 2 friends (Turtle & Eric) to LA with him. Eric takes the job as his manager while they also shack up with his half brother (Drama). Jeremy Piven (Ari) acts as his agent (the best *A$$ on TV). So basically its like the real life of a movie star in Hollywood- In the 1st season Vince just finishes a movie with Jessica Alba, which had mixed reviews. Then he makes an Indie film that was in the Aspen film festival that caught the attention of James Cameron.

Vince beat out Leo Dicaprio and other actors to be the lead man in a high budget superhero movie, "Aquaman," starring opposite- Mandy Moore. But there's all this drama b/c Vince and Mandy used to date. Now we're up to now in the season 2. Its cool cuz of all the cameos of other actors playing themselves (Luke Wilson, Ralph Macchio, Pauly Shore, DJ Quik, Ali Larter, Mark Walburg, Jessica Alba, Brooke Shields, etc.)

I guess this is supposed to be somewhat like the life of Mark Walburg- who is the Exec. Producer of the show... anyways- enjoy the finale!!

Okay, I have just watched the first four episodes over the weekend. I am so glad that the show is only a 1/2 long because I don't think I could take it for a full hour. It gets very obnoxious and too hyper. I do really like it though, and have rented the rest of the season. The cleverness, humor and witticisms save it. And Ari rocks! I love how it totally makes fun of and satritizes young Hollywood.
