LOL...I left that out of my original list because it seems so far out of the realm of possibility. But, man, would that be great!

Ahem...

And which member of this august body has been saying all along that Kevin Garnett would be a King?

If this turns out to be true, I am NEVER going to quit lording it over all of you.

:D

Chandler = Marcus Camby.

Yes and no. Marcus Camby has the ability to hit near 3 point range jumpshots. Tyson has been working on his jumper the last couple of seasons, but man, it's still pretty ugly. In other areas I would agree, defense, shot blocking, length, etc. But Camby is a much better offensive threat.

I can't see Chicago, under any circumstances, letting Chandler go when Curry can go down or retire at any time because of his heart. Curry's status just increased Chandler's value, especially to Chicago, dramatically.

I too think Marcus is more skilled than people give him credit for -- not only can shoot a little, but also a good passer. But that said, the long term potential looks similar. Chandler's only 22 + will still to grow. In any case, the point (so eloquently and extensively detailed in my last post ;) ) would just be that I think Chandler's potential is to belong to that elite class of super roleplayers ala Camby, Big Ben, or Deke, as opposed to the big scoring megastars. Still be worth his weight in gold to our team the way it is currently constructed. Unfortunately, the same is true of Chicago, who really have no other big rebounders or shotblockers.

According to the tysonchandler.com website, he does hit 3 pointers. Funny how its doesn't reflect that on the Bulls stats. Im sure they aren't really using him to his full potential.

Dude, have you ever watched Greg Ostertag shoot around before games? One time this season I saw him shooting 20 footers, and I swear, he popped off about 5 in a row.

And yes Tyson will shoot a few jumpers a game. There is a reason the Bulls don't have him do it too often. :)

there is a couple moves he is waiting on that will add length and athletisism to the 4 or 5.

What is it!

Lets not get too overly crazy with this statement and assume he meant KG or Chandler... i would assume it would be more like a Eddie Griffin or Steven Hunter type of move.... either of these two would add length and athleticism to the kings... and are more realistic acquisition....so, don't hold your breath for a KG or Chandler deal....

Since when do we have to start being realistic on this board? ;)

As it is, there aren't many players that fit the description of an athletic 4 or 5 with length.

Hmmm... Mikki Moore? He fits that description and hasn't been talked about all that much.

Question.

If a RFA signs a offer sheet, can the team who holds his rights match while doing a S&T with a third team?

I get the feeling we won't know what this means for at least a week. Or, ever. Hopefully I get embarrassed and there is an announcement in the next 10 minutes of the Kings going through with a major trade.

Maybe we are after Eddy Curry

Now he doesn't add rebounding, shot blocking or defence but he does add some size and some serious low post scoring.

I would still prefer Chandler though :D

ooo i can't wait to find out who this mystery person is :D

it would be nice to get tyson chandler ( KG would be nice, but way too big a pipedream :( )

Just a reminder: Last year's mystery person, as someone else mentioned elsewhere on the board, was Courtney Alexander.
