He should thank Baron Davis, I guess. They have given him a million more than Davis, if I am not mistaken.

You know considering that was almost the same deal Martin got(its the same money per year but a year longer), and Ellis was significantly better than Martin in every category except scoring, I would say that is about the going rate for a player of that caliber.

But for a tweener gaurd? I think this is way too much for Ellis considering he isn't a great jump shooter.

Monta Ellis is awful defensively. Kevin Martin is about average at his position.
