A guest (not sure who) on Koz's show tonight said that Donny Walsh flatly denied that rumor and stated that Dunleavy is there to stay...but that doesn't necessarily mean anything, I suppose.
I listened to Chad Ford's podcast with Donnie Walsh today and he flat-out denied it. He was extremely honest about everything that went down with the trade -- it's a really interesting interview.
The question is: why the hell would the Clippers EVER do that trade? I understand the relationship between father and son as well as Maggette's situation there, but it's still not enough reason to trade a good player for someone who's amounted to little more than a bust in his career. I can see the Dunleavy Sr. trying to swing a trade for his son in hopes that he can jumpstart his career, but there's no reasonable way that he trades those two straight-up, right? Or do they need to hire Bill Simmons (the Sports Guy), their resident season-ticket holder, as a VP of Common Sense?

I'll take him at his word. With Webb's buyout I think we can now rightfully say this trade absolutely sucked for BOTH teams. Obviously shows nobody thought too long or hard about it.
