So, I'm sure most people know that Steve Nash leads the league in assists... But how many people know, without looking, who #2 is?

Hmmm! Well, I know that Marbury has been racking them up. Guys like Kobe and DWade are in the top 10 probably. But, since I am watching the Bobcats play the Clipper right now, I would have to say that #2 is Brevin Knight with the Bobcats.

Well I had to look... not the way I would have expected but if you think about the teams they play on and the style of play it makes sense.

You spoil everything... :p

Yes; Brevin F. Knight is currently second in the league in assists per game. I find this funny for two reasons:

1 - Brevin Knight is basically the Ticha Penicheiro of the NBA, in the sense that he gets assist after assist, but can't shoot worth a damn, and doesn't particularly care to shoot, anyway. I mean, it's great to see a pass-first PG in today's NBA, but you'd think that, at some point, other teams would be like, "hey, this guy isn't going to shoot; let's play the pass."

2 - I have him on all four of my fantasy teams. On one of my teams, I actually drafted him, and in the other three, I picked him up off of the free agent pile... in one league, I got him off the free agent pile as recently as Sunday... It just boggles me that the #2 assist guy in the league could have been had for a ham sandwich.
