No one "took" our best player in Haliburton. The Kings drafted the BPA and wound up flipping him for one of the best big men in the league. If they drafted Nesmith, Stewart, Poku, Green, Bey or Achiuwa, we would still be looking for our first playoff berth in 20 years.
If Davion Mitchell had shown out like Haliburton did, the Kings would currently be flipping him for someone a hell of a lot more valuable. Instead, he didn't improve much and rightly doesn't have much trade value. If you want to blame Monte for not picking the right guy, then go ahead but it has nothing to do with him getting taken advantage of because he's stacking BPAs.
So you wouldn't even draft a wing????? After all this?????
But alright, holding you to Ware. We're all arm-chair GM's anyway, at least put something out there rather than just be overtly critical without offering a solution.
