That Toliver pick was pretty much when I figured the guards I wanted weren't going to wind up here. Re: Dev Hampton...3yrs ago she had a shot to get drafted. Her knee(s) is/are way too suspect to use a pick on. Walker was joking with her...but the truth was still there when she said that they never see Hampton on the court @ the start of the season or at least til the start of conference play. then she's playing her way into shape the rest of the way. we already know that feeling so no need to draft a younger version. getting courtney conditioned to run the floor is going to be enough. I hope not being a lottery pick is enough motivation to get to work on that. She technically will be getting paid for each double double so that's taken care of...if she remains on the roster.

From the Salt Lake Tribune, here's an article about the Monarchs' third-round pick, Morgan Warburton.

In the article, she admits that she is a longshot (at best) to make the Monarchs' final roster.

EDIT: Warburton is a third-round pick, not second-round, as I originally typed.
