DQJ returns

Remember when he was going to finally be the good swingman from the never-ending list of low-level wings we convince ourselves will finally be the one?

Welcome back.

So is he the deep backup for whoever replaces Keegan for now? so Doug calls up his Son-in-Law as our new Wing?

So before season start we could waive one of our 2way players ( maybe Stevens ) then sign Jeffries as a 2way contract?
Don't have to make him a 2-way with Exhibit 10, it just means he gets a bonus if he signs on with the G-League team on a regular G-League contract.

So basically like Skal? G league champions ready to repeat.
There might be something to be said for populating your G-League team with like 50% seasoned vets who just aren't good enough to hold down an NBA roster spot. There's less potential to develop raw talent as you're rolling the dice on fewer kids...but that's balanced by surrounding the kids you believe in more with a team that approximates and understands NBA basketball, rather than a glorified AAU squad.

Honestly, I can't complain about the development job we've done in the G-League the past few years, with undrafted players like Ellis and Isaac Jones coming out of nowhere to be NBA caliber and Mason Jones at least showing out a bit. G-League champs and maybe turning Cardwell into a defensive bench player sounds good to me!
