Don Nelson next head coach?

http://insider.espn.go.com/nba/features/rumors

"I'm not planning to (coach anymore)," said Nelson. "I love Maui. ... I'm torn a little bit. I've had a couple of feelers already, just to check me out and see how I'm feeling. I don't think that I will (coach again), but you never say, 'never.' "

I sincerly doubt it. We passed on him intentionaly years ago. Certainly nothing he has done since then would change that opinion. On top of that he is notriously money grubbing, and for a cash strapped crew like the Maloofs that ain't going to work.

Maybe coach and GM !!

if they move they need to make a spash. One thing nelson does is run and gun.

Do you honestly want Nelson messing with this team. Make him coach and GM, and first thing he would do is trade Cousins. Cousins wouldn't fit into his run and gun offense. I don't want that guy anywhere near the Kings. But if he did come, he would have to be Coach and GM, because Petrie would never approve of power hungry Nelson getting his foot in the door.

If they move it sounds like a good plan to me !

What the hell does moving have to do with it? Or is it a devious plan to destroy the team because they're moving? Since I plan on following the team regardless, I want then to improve, not be destroyed. I also want them to stay in sacramento. However, as a favor to you, I will investigate as to whether there is a section 101 in the Honda center.

Forget Nellie. Been proven over and over that he's a road to nowhere. I think Adelman is getting the shaft down in Houston and could be gone at the end of the year. If I were the Maloofs I would swallow some pride and bring him back and stay the heck out of his hair.

I have been on this train for a while now. If the Lakers can bring back Phil, then there is no reason we can't bring back Rick. It would be a match made in heaven.

Its a sick and twisted bitterness by some that would love to see this team fail in a major bay if they move from Sacramento!

Pathetic!

It's not really that we'd want the team (i.e. the players) to fail it's that we'd want The Maloofs to fail and team failure in Anaheim = Maloof failure in Anaheim.
