Den\Sac\Mil

Starter
Sac out:
Bibby
Artest
KT

Den out:
Camby
Evans

Milwaukee out:
Villanueva
Gadzuric
Williams (S&T)

Sac in:
Williams
Camby
Evans

Den in:
Villanueva
Gadzuric

Mil in:
Artest
Bibby
KT

Why:
Sac gets a major rebuild help, ditching three major contracts, getting a young promising point, with some defensive frontcourt help. Maybe we draft Brewer then.

Mo Williams/Price/Douby
K$/Salmons/Douby
Brewer(?)/Garcia/Salmons
Miller/SAR/Evans
Camby/Williams

Den ditches Camby's salary while getting a young Villanueva and a crafty Gadzuric in return.

Blake/who cares
Iverson/Smith/Diawara
Melo/Villanueva/Najera
Kmart/Smith/Villanueva
Nene/Gadzuric/Smith

Mil: They want to win now with Redd and Bogut, and what better way than to replace 3/5s of their starting lineup with Kings leftovers. They get competitive in the east again.

Bibby/Boykins/Bell
Redd/Bell/Greer
Artest/Simmons
KT/Ilasynova/?
Bogut/?

My only worry is that Mo Williams would have to be signed to a pretty big deal for this even to work. Couldn't check it on a website because you can't do S&Ts.

I'd do this in a blink, Denver would think about it, and Milwaukee I think would be willing to take Artest.

I doubt that Denver does this, their team i pretty well built as is. They got 2 go 2 guys in Iverson and Melo, pretty good front court with Camby, Evans and Nene, 3 point shooters in Smith, Blake and Dwaiwa and if martin stays healthy they will make some noise next year.

I think Denver does do this cuz thet ditch about 5 mil off the books. Camby isn't the key to their team, so they might go for it.

yeh but they are looking to clear him up cuz they are way over the cap now, especially with ai now there.... plus nene is finally coming to be the player everyone thought he would come, as well as the fact that kenyon martin (yes he is still there!) should be coming back at least sometime next season...

love this trade though, i think it's the best trade i've seen so far this off season on this board... everybody gets something in return...

sorry smills... but...

quality >>>>>>>> quantity

:p

Aside from questions about whether each team would do this, this trade doesn't work from a salary perspective. Denver can't send out Camby and Evans (about $14 million in salary) and only take back Villanueva and Gadzuric (about $8 million). And Milwaukee would be sending out about $8 million in salary and taking on Bibby, Artest and KT, which is about $27 million. They have some cap space, but not THAT much cap space.

Absolutely right! You can throw out possible trades all over the place, but if the dollar amounts don't work.... FORGET IT!

Alright good points, but say they S&T Mo Williams for a 10 mil contract. Maybe overpaid, but it would make this trade work. Seeing as its one big melting pot, and the teams are involved in a three way, look at it like this.
Milwaukee out: 18 million $
Sacramento out: 26 million $
Denver out: 12 mil $

Milwaukee in: 26 million (the only problem i really see now, but if they want to be good, they have to pay a price)
Denver in: 8 mill$ (cut cap room, dip under LT)
Sacramento in: 23 million $

If money really is an issue, change it so Milwaukee gets Reggie Evans and Denver gets KT, and Sac gets Charlie.

then it would be

Milwaukee out: 18 Mill$
Sacramento out: 26 mil
Denver out: 12 mil

Milwaukee in: 23 mil$
Denver in: 11 mil$
Sac in: 22 mil

I don't think Denver wants KT though. Milwaukee would have to be willing to take on salary if they wanted to be good.
