December 13 City Council Meeting

I am so sick of hearing the arena is a 'luxury'. It is an investment in jobs and tax revenue, to benefit the future of this city. Hardly just a 'luxury'. Ugh.
 
Do any of these idiots realize the revenue which would be generated for the city and it's citizens by BUILDING an arena. Not building it, watching your only pro team leave, watch revenue streams dry up, without any possible replacement for what the Kings brought, with no other ideas I'm hearing, is insane.

I have yet to hear one of these wingnuts come up with another solution, which would bring in an equal amount of revenue for the city. Nothing.

This Carol lady is a moron, she has no idea what the hell she's even talking about. Fire fighters and police? That comes from your general fund, this doesnt effect the general fund at all. No understanding of the way this works.

You're turning good jobs into bad jobs? They won't hire people from Sac and they lose 186 jobs? What in god name is she talking about?

some of them were employed they were just looking at saving their own butt rather than helping anyone else. Like the parking guy. Who IIRC is wrong because they want to build more parking, and the parking that will be at the railyards is what will be sold I believe. I think these people are dreadfully misinformed, and some of them are a bunch of stoned idiots who think the world is just out to get them and came in acting real arrogant and high and mighty, like the one girl with the black hair, or the guy who said the kings suck.
