Is it just funny coincidence or does it seem like those three teams got punished for tanking the season? Looks like they even got punished in tank position order. Moreover, is David Stern above punishing teams in this unspeakable fashion? The ironies this season is turning up almost like a soap opera.

Also, remarkably two teams with arena issues got rewarded with the top two picks! Of course, the Kings would miss the boat on that regard too.

Conspiracy theories are fun, but there's no way Stern would put two players with huge superstar potential in the northwest on purpose.

I think this year a lot of the conspiracies can be put to rest. Stern doesn't want to see Miami get swept. I doubt he wants to see the MAVS fail to get past the 1st round. Jazz v. spurs is about as boring as you can get, and the 2 best picks end up in small market western conference teams.

Stern wanted Durant or Oden in Boston, that much is obvious.

The only thing that went right for the NBA brass is Lebron in the ECF.
