I think we sometimes forget that the Coach and his family are people to. Here is the part of that story that stresses that point for me:

My point was the news that people tapping brakes might mean the kings are looking at other coaching options that could be better or a better fit. But my gut is telling me that I just got my hopes up for nothing. No speculation on who we finally will sign

That should be no problem.

It was reported that DMC camp had an issue with George Karl directly, not Karl's agent. Karl had rubbed one of DMC agents wrong in the past.

Which is why I'd still prefer Blatt or Vogel, but Joerger can definitely coach!

On the other hand, if my quick sojourn into the forums of realgm is any indication, Grizz fans are pissed! A lot of them see where Joerger was coming from, as the owner is supposedly a cheapskate and the GM hasn't been doing him any favors with an aging roster.

One thing to love: Joerger sure as hell isn't going to have Cuz running around jacking 3s!

It was weird that we were not linked to Vogel but this might explain why.

I would be very happy with this hire if we can pull it off. Hell there are so many good coaches available it would be hard to **** it up at this point!

For the last month I have semi-quietly been thinking this. One of my comments was that there were 50 competent people for 30 jobs and I thought that was a tad over stated. Is it?
