I'm telling you, this damn team is losing on purpose... Last 2 weeks, they had "mysterious" meltdowns... And this week they miss a 36 yd field goal with 4 mins left... I haven't seen if tennessee has won the game but it seems that they are going to.... Damn those texans... We want bush, not you.

Damn, I have absolutely lost ALL respect for the texans.... Seriously, do they actually want us to believe that they are losing by any other reasons other than purposely losing the game??

I sent this off to Bill Simmons on ESPN's Page 2

I am a Niner fan in full-fledge, no-apologies "Tank it for Bush!" mode. The problem is the Texans are a game "ahead" of us. If both teams can hold serve, Jan. 1 Texans at 49ers has the potential to be the worst played game in the history of competitive sports. Can't you just see it now? Kris Brown kicking at a 90 degree angle, Alex Smith taking a 27 step drop into the back of his own endzone...Oh, the Humanity!

:D My co-workers and I were laughing about this yesterday. I think Tagliabue should just cancel the game. It could be horrendous. And what if one team (my guess is the 49ers :() decides to play hard to keep the integrity of the game alive. They might end up winning 50-0.

They should make a deal before the game starts. The winner gets the first pick in the draft to take Bush and the loser gets the second pick and the first two picks in the second round (or third or whatever they agree on). That way they're playing for something. Too bad that would never happen.

Houston up 27-10 on Arizona going into the 4th quarter... if they lose... it was on purpose.

Im sure the 49ers will get the memo... Dont score... 49ers down 7-6 to Jacksonville

This may indeed be the game for the ages... And one that's talked about for years to come. Go Texans!!!
