Dallas handling the Spurs

with a 20 point lead at the half on Spurs homecourt. San Antonio needs to make some serious adjustments to get back in this one

I'm not sure who I'm rooting for either. I just want it to be a close down to the wire finish. :) Blowouts are boring!

who wants to see dallas/suns wcf? knowing that one of them will have to win and go to the finals.... go spurs....

ugh, I still hate Dallas. I wonder if we beat up Parker and Ginobli a little too much in the first round and if it's taking it's toll now.

I complained about the officiating in game 1 and I'm going to do the same in game 2. The officiating was HORRIBLE. I absolutely HATE when the refs take over a game. There were terrible calls on both sides. I swear if you so far as TOUCH Tim Duncan you get called for a foul.

I'll still take the win though. Inserting Devin Harris into the starting lineup is making Avery Johnson look like a genius...

I agree with you - Tim Duncan was called for 3 fouls even before he got his warmups off.

I don't hate Spurs (as a franchise - of course I hate Finley, Horry and Van Exel), and as much as I hate Dallas, I have to admire Dirk, so whoever wins this series I'll be OK with it.

the spurs were playing 8 on 5 tonight. TERRIBLE officiating. just TERRIBLE. what an embarassment for the NBA.

the spurs are probably pretty humiliated with the game tonight, refs or no refs, the mavs just plain killed them. they will come back with vengance and probably win game 3. i don't htink winning in dallas scares the spurs, i'm sure they expect to.

i still say spurs in 6

For the first time in several years, my focus is on the Eastern Conference Playoffs, since they have more intriguing matchups and the championship favorite.

I've thought all along that the Mavericks would handle this series. That first game being so close was a fluke. There may be a few more close games, but Dallas will come out on top.

I also think Dallas will win this series. Don't think they will beat the Pistons but at least they will have a taste of the finals.

well, i also think that nets/heat will be a good series. elsewhere i had claimed that the nets would come on top. for the pistons/cavs series, it is anything but exciting so far; good old whooping.

the series that interest me most at this point is actually spurs/mavs. unfortunately, the nbatv broadcast in turkey does not share this point of view and insists on showing pistons/cavs (the rule is: at most one game per day). what is even worse, instead of the nets/heat series, they are showing the clips/suns series.
