We just need to change our strategy. But with WCS and Koufos we should be fine. Start Belinelli or Collison for more fire power.

I think we could win both games. I love big Cuz, but I think there are some things that improve dramatically when he doesn't play. We have some lineups that can run like deer, for one thing. Also I think his temper can be distracting for the other Kings players sometimes. With the new bench this year, I think they'll be all right without him for short stretches.

Ya I did not want to say anything, but in the last game i thought I could hear what cousins was saying at one point. If it was him I'm embarased for our city.I think we could win both games. This team can with the next three games without Cuz.
I'm embarrassed for people like you who post crap like this.
Team building and chemistry coming along, a roster that fights on every inch of the court until the final buzzer, the players seem to be committed to a common goal... the best asset gets slightly injured and the Kings Nation starts booking a funeral??? What's wrong now?Congratulations for the first "we're better without Cousins" allegation.
Hi VF!
You where rude to both Ninjabiscut and myself. But after thinking about it maybe I shouldn't have said anything about what what I thought I heard Cousins say. So I apologize for that.
Your statement is one that bothers me. You either heard it or you did not hear it. If you "thought" you heard it you did not "hear" it.
I heard someone make a threat during a Clippers free throws. It sounded like it came from on the court. Cousins had just been jawing and the camera panned away when I heard it. It looked as if he said it. But I don't know if it was him. I'm surprised no one else picked up on it. It was really coincidental that he left the game not long after that.
Given the design of Karl's offense, we're not going to be missing much of Cousins' inside presence on offense (other than offensive rebounds). Also, I don't imagine Koufos is going to be dribbling the ball up the floor, nor hoisting 3 point shots. More than anything, Cousins' presence will be missed on defense guarding the beef of Memphis, and of course defensive rebounding.
Was that when he was saying to Lance Stephenson ''I'm going to hurt you"'? Cause I thought I heard him saying something like that and imo it's all part of the game and trying to get into the opponents head as long as you don't pick up a unnecessary tech I don't really have any issues with that.I heard someone make a threat during a Clippers free throws. Ya it bothered me. So I guess that goes on all the time then. Sorry for bringing it up.Was that when he was saying to Lance Stephenson ''I'm going to hurt you"'? I image it would playing against Lance, maybe I'm different but to me you can pretty much say most stuff to people as long as your not acting on it or costing your team points doing so. Kevin Garrnet has been saying plenty of stuff far worse than that for 20 years now.Ya it bothered me. So I guess that goes on all the time then. Sorry for bringing it up.
sometimes i wonder where you come up with this stuff. karl has said on numerous occasions that he values points at the rim and points beyond the arc, and the design of his offense surely reflects that. hell, last week we watched the kings pummel the lakers to the tune of 80 points in the paint. big cuz didn't shoot well from the field in that game, but he got to the free throw line 14 times for all of his effort down low, and he hit 11 of them. the kings will absolutely miss the kind of dominant interior presence that could suck the grizzlies' gritty perimeter defense away from the few decent outside shooters that this team has, and could also potentially draw the "beef of Memphis" into foul trouble...
I don't give much weight to anything that occurs against a terrible Lakers team. Why should I? They are probably a bottom 5 team in this league.
They are playing something called "the dribble drive offense". Which is something that sounds like you made it up on the playground, but in any case the whole idea of the thing seems to be to clear the paint and get everybody taking turns slashing to the rim. Its an "at the rim" offense for idiots, or guards. But when the meanies play defense and won't get out of the way, you've got issues.
Straw man much? While I do not think the DD is a great fit for our line up, it is a bit more nuanced that that! You might also note that both of the teams that clobbered us in the paint on d feature great rim protectors and at least a second solid defending forward. So I would say the jury is still out on weather or not Karl's version of coach Wallberg's dd is a good fit in the NBA or this team in particular. I saw it in play at FCC and I remain skeptical about it with full size players in the NBA, but lots of teams have doe very well with motion offense so Ill give Karl the benefit of the doubt. Ironically the dd might be more fluid with DMC out... tonight will be a better test of both hypothesis. They are playing something called "the dribble drive offense".
