Cat's injury

Some callers on 1140 were saying that they thought he faked it to get out of the game. This seems a little extreme and I didn't see it; all I know is that I liked Evans a whole lot better in the lineup after Mobley was out.

I watched the local broadcast and didn't see a replay of it, I might've missed it if they did show it. All I saw was him limping as the Kings brought the ball up and almost ran a play before Adleman got them to call a timeout to take him out.

I was watching TNT and I didn't see anything. We were talking in chat, and no one noticed what had happened.

So, maybe he stepped wrong or something? Did he just pull up lame, or step on someone? Anyone see a specific incident?

It was odd. And while I will not go into the "he intentionally quit on the team" stuff (because why exactly would he do that?) it just looked very weird. Looked very minor. Then all of a sudden he starts limping, takes himself out of the game, doesn't look that badly hurt, and never is heard or seen again in an elimnation game. Just felt...odd. Kind of like Cat's season in a way -- just faded away insubstantially and didn't react at all the way you would have thought he would. Just mysteriously disappeared, and was barely even missed.

Mobley must have been really hurting hes not the type of dude to quit on a team.... his name is not Kwame Brown! and there is no reason for him to do such a thing........ it wouldnt make any sense

whoever was reporting on the game (ala michelle tafoya/cheryl miller), said that cat sprained his foot and then when he was trying to comeback to the bench, he came running back to the lockerroom cause it really hurt that bad. i don't know. that's what i heard from TNT that night.

cat has heart. i don't believe he faked an injury to get out of the game.
