Cowboys Release Terrell Owens

Ok, as a Cowboys fan.. I have mixed emotions.

First, Thank you T.O. for not being as problematic as your days in SF and PHI
Second, Thank you for your tears for Romo
Third, Could we not get ANYTHING for this guy?? C'mon, there had to be someone who wanted him..
Fourth, the faith that has been expressed by the front office in Roy Williams better be justified.

Couldn't have happened to a bigger idiot. The dude is his own worst enemy.

HAHA! He better stay the hell away from my 49ers.

I think we're cool. He said one time he didn't like the Bay Area because of all the fog... and I don't think he'd want to come back anyway.

;)

I hope to god this is the end of that idiot's career. Probably will not be -- some fool will chance it. But I want him gone.

Oh he'll find some team willing to take a chance on him because he's still very productive.....but at what cost? And I mean to the team's unity of course.

The Pats do seem like the most likely destination.

Not sure why -- they already have their big guy, Terrel Owens is too big of a child to ever handle being the "other #81", and the Pats have always been about team first, including even with Moss who seems to have substantially reformed himself. I doubt they would put up with Terrel's crap even until the end of training camp.

The Jets in a bid for attention in NY maybe. The Raiders. They claim maybe the Broncos. But not a no nonsense machne.

Pats don't need TO. They do need a 3rd receiver to replace Gaffney, Galloway or Holt are better options if they want to make a splash with a big name.

All he needs to be is better than Donte Stallworth, I think he's got that covered.

I could be wrong, but wasn't there some hype a few years back about TO going to Baltimore?? I seem to recall that, but anyways I think the Ravens would be a very nice fit for him and he would be the top notch target for up-and-coming Flacco.

There really isn't to much that can come of it.

Its a one year deal.
He is a cancer yet again, they cut him.

As a one year contract player most likely from here on out it will be interesting to see what he will do. Can he behave himself to get that next contract, or will he mouth his way out of the league?

Because even at 35 the guy can still be a monster on the field.
Ill be following his ride.

I'm REALLY surprised by the Bills being the team he goes to. But I'm not surprised at the type of contract he received. 1 year - that is the perfect "safe gamble" for Buffalo. But I guarantee you this - Drew Rosenhaus probably told TO to be on his best behavior because if he messes up this stint - it will probably be his last.
