Colangelo seemed to want Marcus Williams really bad. Also interesting how he was able to get a general idea of who everyone else wanted to pick and stuff. We all know they didn't end up with Marcus Williams I guess, which just goes to show that no matter how badly a GM wants a player some times it doesn't happen. Interesting how Colangelo said "Utah's not the right market for him". Wonder what it's like to be around Geoff on draft day.

Yeah, I've seen that. I was hoping to see Colangelo call Petrie so I can get a better idea as to why we passed on Marcus but unfortunately the footage didn't get to us.

It's no secret or anything. Marcus never came and worked out from what I hear and Petrie doesn't usually draft sight unseen. That and Quincy came in and basically hit every shot he took. That compelled Geoff Petrie to go and check out his Seattle workout because Geoff wasn't at the Kings one and they made the promise to draft him at 19 if he was there.

Man, that was interesting!

Intriguing to see how such a respected GM works in action.

It'd be great if they did this kind of programming for all GM's during the next draft.

Very cool, I'd definately like to see more of that kind of stuff, although I could see why its not out there

that is an incredibly interesting clip - i did not know that was out there- thanks for posting it

Why are there so many people there? Everyone is just sitting around while Colangelo does all the work. It should just be colangelo and maybe one or two people to do chores for him when he needs them (make phone calls, look up stuff, bring him food, etc..)
