When playing on a board run by someone who has something you want, you play by their rules or you don't play at all. I support Seattle's position for getting an expansion team, but the attitudes and entitlement displayed does nothing for your case.

hoopster, I for one have always enjoyed your input.. One of the classiest Sonics fans that I have read, unlike most of the crap on sonicsrising.. It is nice that you are coming back to congratulate. It will only be a few years away before we see Seattle back in the NBA given the group, market, and expansion/relocation possibilities in the future

I guess my only hangup with the continual complaining about Stern is that Stern doesn't matter anymore. Silver is the man in less than a year and if you noticed, he interrupted Stern and spoke highly of Seattle and it's future. Why not talk about that instead of continually whining about Stern?

In fact, the only folks I know of who delight in accusing the other side of "being on the payroll" are the CAVEs on the Sac Bee pages. For the love of all that is holy, please do not lower us down to that level. They are, if anything, worse than the much-derided folks from SonicsRising. At least the Seattle folks had something that they were fighting for. The Sac Bee trolls simply throw up opposition to anything they can oppose merely because they get off on being contrary.

Sorry Captain, your take was never in mind when I posted this. And yes, I have been to the sonicsrising site but I have never entered a word there or in any of the Seattle sonic fans forums.

But yeah, Seattle media is all over that OKC game comment. We have a bunch of bummed hoops fans up here. Being a Kings fan in Seattle, I think its important for everybody to understand that H/B was the enemy here, and that the goofs over at Sonics Rising (or whatever that forum was) are not your average Sonics fan. Most people up here wanted an expansion team. Nobody felt OK about jacking the Kings. Its just that the league hasnt really given a different option (yet).

If the shoe was on the other foot, we'd be just as eager to steal the Sonics, if that meant getting the Kings back.

But whatever, I'm just glad its over. As a Kings fan living in Seattle I was in the odd position of feeling like the whole thing was both win/win and lose/lose.
