for making it through a challenging season. I know it was pretty rough, and likely worse than most of us believed was possible. But having this community of Kingsfans.com here for support and commiseration made it a lot easier to deal with. Thanks for being here.

To a new coach, new picks, and a new season next year!

Even though this season was a tough one, it seemed shorter. Maybe less memories. I'm not sure. I guess my favorite memory was that hectic trade deadline moment. I wish all thirty teams did that.

Yeah, this offseason will be an exciting one. Especially the draft (well duh).

Remember folks, tomorrow never knows! *cue backwards guitar solo*

Lol.

EDIT: Of course, how can I forget those retirement events. *smacks head* Those were the best.

I'll remember the good things about this season...seeing Webber's jersey retired, seeing Vlade's jersey retired, seeing Doug Christie finally get the Arco gratitude he deserves, seeing Jason Thompson and Spencer Hawes as they start to learn to play together, seeing Coachie back on the bench, and having a great group of friends here at Kingsfans.com to share the joys and the sorrows.

Most of all, I'll remember once again the dedication and generosity of our Grand Poobah, Jeremy, for keeping this place around for us to come to.

I second the toast...

Here's to the future of the Kings!!!

Amen to everything you said!:) I cant wait until the season is officially over and we're on to the draft in a couple months! Then Aug 1st Free Agent day, then October for training camp!

To the future of the Kings!

I also want to say thank you to the Kings who left their hearts out on the floor this year! This is not the time or the thread to discuss who did and who didn't, but alot of them played very hard up until the final minutes of 82.

So to those players, Thank you! Keep your heads up, success is right around the corner!

It sure was INTERESTING!!!! Unexpected. They did beat 5 playoff teams. Enjoyed much of the season from afar. Really looking forward to Summer League, more this year than in last 3-4 years. We just might have a solid core who can sneak up on the 8th spot in 09/10

There were so many games lost in the last 2 min or by 1-5 points. The big Kids did well....Kevin pops in his 24 a night )when he's healthy).....Cisco is the jar of glue for the team....Noce brings some needed toughness....Beno shows flashes (unfortunately it is of a good backup PG)....McCants could be a keeper and a help off the bench....

Enjoyed the banter from the knowledgeable fans and look forward to all of you in the fall.

CruzDude is taking his board south in May to the warmer waters of San Diego as Mrs. CruzDude appears to be getting a promotion-transfer to UC San Diego. Have a great summer all.

It was painful but its nice to see that this team finally has some direction.

Next season should be fun with a few more rookies on board and a chance to see the future core of the team develop.

Thank you to everyone here at kingsfans.com. I'm nowhere near as knowledgeable as a lot of folks here, so I really value the insights, information, and opinions I get here.

In particular, l always enjoy Brick's grade threads. I'm hoping the team is good enough for VFs play-by-play threads to make a comeback. Even though I usually watch the games, I enjoy reading those threads after wards. And I hope we'll see a retun of Piksi's game intros next year. They are priceless.

I've enjoyed watching the development of JT and Hawes this year and am excited to see the draft. I can't wait to start again in October and will keep praying for a new arena to keep my Kings in Sacramento. Next year will be the 25th anniversary and I don't want it to be a goodbye tour.

Thanks Jeremy, for keeping kingsfans.com up and running.

I'll join the toast....To the future of the Sacramento Kings. :D
