no national TV games on a Friday night, boooo NBA booo. only get a ESPN game once a week and NBA TV doesn't air games as often as last season

why's that?
If the game is exclusive to a national TV broadcast (i.e. it is NOT also carried by either team's local broadcast), it won't be shown on LP. LP doesn't show the national TV broadcast; it only shows local TV broadcasts). So, taking your example, if a game is ONLY exclusive to Amazon Prime (i.e. a local station is not carrying it), you will be SOL.

indeed, first Amazon took the NFL from national TV broadcast and now it's doing it for the NBA....a much warranted boo
Also, I'd recommend that you start getting used to this trend. Don't be surprised if EVERYTHING is on a streaming service of some kind at some point in time.

The Miami Heat, in 1 quarter of play (the 1st quarter), outscored the Charlotte Hornets' Q3 and Q4 combined output.
This begs the question...Are the Miami Heat actually that good, or are the Charlotte Hornets just that bad?

It's ultimately a self-defeating strategy, though. In the limit, the entire NBA schedule is split among 12 different streaming services with each service offering about 7 games for each team. People are forced between a decision to buy 12 different streaming services to watch their team, or to punt, and they will punt.

I'm not going to argue against your point. Not at all.
