They’re gonna sell their former picks to not pay them to land a guy who will be an unrestricted free agent and famously held out in re-signing over the summer until the last minute because they don’t want to spend? Makes total sense to me.

Also does saying they’ve been monitoring him dating back to last season sound impressive when you bill it with the years like that?

Wolves need to do something big here, they are 2nd round exit team at this point. Although I don't see Edwards as a type of personality to jump ship if the team can't build a championship roster around him
 
Spurs with something of a statement win to clinch Group C and advance to Vegas for the knockout round of the NBA Cup. Vassell led the way with 35. Fox didn't have his usual scoring performance, but put on his point guard hat for a change, and had a respectable 12 assists against 3 turnovers.

Spurs are now 7-3 with Fox in the lineup, including 5-1 without Wembanyama. They are 7-1 versus teams not named the Golden State Warriors.
