Yo Atlanta, what are you doing?

Onyeka starts three games for you while Porzingis is out and puts up 90 points, 16 rebounds, 10 assists, 7 blocks, 5 steals, and shoots 15 for 30 on three point jumpers (!!) and then he goes right back to the bench? Granted the TOs and PFs were also sky high and I'd like to see some more rebounds but come on.

NBA is primed for major growth imo. Giving people an alternative to the Debbie Downers on TNT was a huge win for the league. Despite the injuries and the off the court controversies this has been an incredible start with a ton of great games.

The other teams may or may not be doing it intentionally but surely they'd love to trade some of that dead weight to pick up a first in this draft. I think too much stake is placed on your own pick vs. other's picks. That's why OKC was able to only have two twenty-win seasons (22 & 24) between 40 win campaigns on their way to their championship. Chet was their pick a lot of their other top players were trades or guys they drafted with other teams' picks.

I would like to take this time to reiterate my working theory that the Denver Nuggets must have had someone on payroll whose sole job was to follow Michael Porter, Jr. around and make sure he didn't say nothing too stupid in front of a microphone. Because that person clearly did not follow your mans to Brooklyn.

My family owned many restaurants and operated some big hotels and I was always taught to tip well in excess of "standard tipping", I actually think post-COVID some of the tip nags at fast food and casual outlets is out of control when they prompt for 25% minimum, but anyone in the NBA complaining about tip culture can get f'd.

MPJ still somehow being the least problematic Porter brother is insane.

Jason Kidd’s elite coaching trait is his ability to absolutely tank every young player he encounters development.
Damn, dude gets no credit for Giannis or Middleton? Not even Jabari Parker? Dude played the best seasons of his career under Kidd.

Well, it was positively sporting of Oklahoma City to spot Utah 18 points before they decided to straight whip it out on them: 33-4 run to end the third quarter!

If New Orleans can stay out of the top 7 in this draft they won’t be a laughing stock anymore regarding that trade. Queen looks like a potential stud and they are running some of the offense through him already as a rookie. A Sengun type maybe

If New Orleans and Dallas can get a little momentum it might end up just the kings and likely Utah at the bottom out west

Zion just got back from a hamstring injury. He's not going to push it and certainly not on defense.

One thing I noticed is that Queen got more touches than Zion and both of them operate in the same spaces on the floor. Both of them can't hit a three and the spacing was cramped. Zion tried to take over late but missed a bunny and that was it. Wouldn't be surprised if Zion is traded.

Draymond is a goon and a habitual line-stepper, but he's also a first-ballot glue guy and one of the best defenders of his generation. I'll never co-sign people who act like Draymond isn't a "real" basketball player 'cause he never averaged 18 a game, or something.

And who the hell is Kenyon Martin to talk? That guy couldn't even win ROY in a mediocre draft as the Number One Overall pick. What's he ever done in his career, besides get carried by Jason Kidd and Carmelo Anthony?
