If Sabonis does end up demanding a trade I hope we snag Kessler would be the perfect replacement defensive wise for the future
The Jazz treating Kessler like he's Mikki Moore really is rather confusing. All the dude is flat out an extremely productive starting C that's puts quality numbers and is an impact defender. Nearly 5000 minute sample backing it up.
I get he's a bit of a relic that can't shoot, but also 7'0's that are as productive as he is don't grow on trees either. I'd 100% be making a call.

These GM's are pissing me off. You don't get to act like Walker Kessler is a transformative young player who's integral to your squad and only would part with him for a Kings ransom... after you told the world you aren't going to extend him. So the answer is you're going to take nothing and watch him walk in FA?
Well, he'll still be an RFA...if Danny Insainge can be bothered to make him the QO. Is he even worth a QO? Man, that's a tough call.

That's the way the league will be going. Why offer them more than what a RFA can get in a market with limited teams with cap space. Basically banking on players getting MLE deals and matching.
